◎简　　介

　　小智（松本莉香 配音）来自真新镇，他的方针是要成为奇异宝贝顶级练习师。在行将展开练习师旅程的一天，由于早退，他并没有拿到初始的小精灵。大木博士（石冢运昇 配音）见状，便送了一只不愿进精灵球和很是调皮的皮卡丘给这位失落的年轻人。因而，他们俩便踏上了精灵宝可梦的旅程。
　　在旅途中，他们的之间的隔膜逐步打破，并熟悉了同业的伙伴诚子（佐藤刊里 配音）与宗次（本乡奏多 配音），并听到了有关凤王的传闻。“遭到虹色之羽的指导，见到凤王的人，就会成为彩虹勇士...”
　　本部戏院版是《奇异宝贝》动画系列的第二十部电影。该部电影的剧情是系列动画第一集《奇异宝贝！就决议是你了！》的改编，描写小智与皮卡丘踏上成为宝可梦大师的冒险之旅。
