◎简　　介

　　著名歌舞伎演员中村雪之丞（长谷川一夫 饰），其童年时怙恃遭奸人谗谄，相继身亡。年幼的雪之丞无依无靠，幸遇仗义善良的歌舞伎一人中村菊之丞（市川中車 饰）。菊之丞将其收为徒弟，倾囊教授舞技和剑术，立誓辅佐雪之丞报仇雪恨。
　　转眼数年曩昔，雪之丞已经长大为独当一面的优异歌舞伎艺人。他与徒弟一路来至江户，终究发现仇人——原长崎推行——土部三斎（中村鴈治郎 饰），复仇之火自此熊熊燃起……
