简　　介  

　　小男孩哈尼在森林中安步时，发现了他的父亲——哈利的尸身。分歧于一般谋杀案，此次由于多人都自以为凶手而令案情加倍扑朔迷离。亚伯特船主（埃德蒙?格温 Edmund Gwenn 饰）以为是他在狩猎射击时误杀了哈利；村子里的老童贞葛雷布礼蜜斯（麦尔翠德?耐维克 Mildred Natwick 饰）以为是由于她为了保住自己的名声而用一只鞋子打了哈利的头部而形成他的灭亡；与哈利豪情不睦的妻子珍妮佛（雪莉?麦克雷恩 Shirley MacLaine 饰）则以为是她由于抵挡哈利的性爱用装牛奶的罐子敲向他的脑壳而形成了他的灭亡。真相最初能否内情毕露？
