　　--电影报告了这么个故事，纽约的年轻人泰普周末回家在路上拾到一个钱包，里面没什么工具，连钱也没有。当天早晨泰普已经约好了几个老朋友在他家打扑克文娱，在朋友来到之前泰普按照钱包里的一个电话号码留言给失主，说自己拾到了钱包希望对方上他家来支付，打完电话泰普忽然发现钱包里有一张彩票，彩票上的号码是中了当天乐透开出的巨奖600万美圆，泰普经过一番心理挣扎，终极将自己没中的彩票换了钱包里的彩票，你可以设想获得，泰普是何等地后悔打了阿谁电话。
　　故事才刚刚起头，由于失主上门了。失主是位黑人出租司机，他看了泰普还给他的钱包后若无其事，并接管了泰普的朋友们的约请坐下来和他们一路玩扑克牌，整部电影就是泰普和黑人司机间的心理对抗，泰普想获得这笔钱，黑人老头晓得轻易拿不回自己的钱，可是为了家，为了自己的孙女，顽强地在对峙，而周边的人都蒙在鼓里。最初，几个朋友发觉了真相，并要求大师等分，但现在泰普良知发现，他决议并把彩票归还给了司机。人都走了，当他一小我留在家里的时辰他打电话给女友说“我爱你”时，我相信具有财富的感受布满了他的心里。

　　The story was inspired by a real-life incident. Jeff Probst found a man's wallet on the street, with a name but no phone number, so he called another person's number that was inside. The man who answered said he was a cousin of the owner, and instructed Probst to mail it to him. Probst says he has always wondered if the other man really was a cousin.
