　　杜普拉斯兄弟在拍摄电影《帕妃椅》时代，一群摄制组成员无聊时提出一个题目：你能想到的让你惊慌的工作是什么？有人立即回答：一个头上戴着袋子的人盯着你的窗口。对于这一说法，有的人赞成，但有的人不以为然，以为这很荒诞，大概很滑稽，但一点都不会引发惊慌。因而，《纸袋头》随之诞生，试图捉住那种“头上戴袋子”的荒诞感受，建造出一部滑稽、实在、心爱的电影，固然也许——仅仅也许，有一点点的恐惧。
