　　马耳他渔业日渐冷落，身世渔民世家的杰斯马克为了赡养妻儿，不能不铤而走险尝试黑市打鱼买卖。影片极具现实主义气概，从马耳他当地渔民的视角动身，将对多种社会议题的探讨，奇妙地穿插在一个动人至深的家庭故事当中，显现了地中海美丽风光背后的悲情真相。片中包括男配角在内的多个脚色，均是由当地渔民出演，他们俭朴无华的本质出演实在而自然。本片是第一部亮相圣丹斯电影节的马耳他电影，并终极荣获2021年圣丹斯电影节天下电影单元评审团出格奖。
