◎剧情简介
       影片报告一个与世隔断的小镇“新伯利恒”（New Bethlehem），一群虔敬的人在几位长者的带领下自耕自耘地生活。
　　小镇的六户人家里，有六位，在第六个月的第六天，诞生的女孩，在她们的18岁生日之夜，一个接一个地奥秘失落，继而死于横死。小镇传播的陈腐预言说过，六个女孩中只要一个会活下来，而她则会化身为恶魔之手。
　　影片包括些许宗教色彩，小镇“新伯利恒”利用圣城伯利恒之名，这座城市在希伯来语圣经中，是以色列大卫王的故乡和加冕之所，在新约中则是基督的诞生地。而“第六个月第六日诞生的六个女孩”所组成的“666”则是所谓的“魔鬼数字”。
