简　　介  

　　菲尔（阿伦·瑞克曼 Alan Rickman 饰）是一位发型设想师，他和妻子莎莉（娜塔莎·理查德森 Natasha Richardson 饰）经营着一家美发店，是圈内助人恋慕的仙人眷侣。令众人大跌眼镜的是，莎莉居然分开了菲尔，不但如此，她也开了一家美发店，成为了菲尔的合作对手。遭受妻子变节的菲尔萎靡不振，在日复一日的低沉中，他逐步忘怀了自己的胡想。
　　一次偶然中，菲尔得知自己地点的小镇上行将举行一场全国性的美发大奖赛，经过频频的思惟斗争后，他决议重拾胡想，再次走上赛场。一样参赛的还有莎莉和菲尔的老对手雷（比尔·奈伊 Bill Nighy 饰）。在目击了同业是怎样不择手段的向着冠军宝座迈进后，菲尔和莎莉大白，为了赢得角逐，为了保护行业的声誉和光荣，他们必须像畴前那样，联手作战。
