　　　　清兵火烧少林，寺中职员伤亡惨重，洪熙官（陈观泰 饰）虽然幸免于难可是身受重伤，他决议临时偃旗息鼓待到他日可以死灰复然，哪晓得流亡的一路上频频遭到官兵的追杀。某日，洪熙官正在和追捕他的官兵周旋，堕入酣战当中，巧得方世玉（傅声 饰）途经，方世玉误以为洪熙官是作奸不法之徒，因而帮助官兵将他五花大绑交至官府。                                                                    　　以后，方世玉才晓得，本来这人是台甫鼎鼎的洪熙官，自己居然成为了朝廷小人的爪牙，后悔不已的方世玉伙同一帮武林好汉，一行人起头研讨起领会救洪熙官的战略。
