　　11世纪末，以英、法、德等国组成的十字军策动了第三次东征，大举侵犯阿拉伯地盘。埃及军民在萨拉丁苏丹（即国王）的亲身率领下，奋起抵挡。在亚历山大港一战中，击退了十字军的打击，给十字军以繁重冲击。为了收复圣地耶路撒冷，萨拉丁积极预备，结合阿拉伯列国军队，配合对敌。在赫淀山战争中，萨拉丁派主将阿瓦姆夜袭敌营，摧毁敌军的蓄水罐，引敌下山，采用“火墙战术”，打得十字军屁滚尿流。成果，狂妄自豪的法军首领里诺被俘，并获得了应有的赏罚。                                       
                                    为了实现占有耶路撒冷的野心，法军首领里诺的妻子弗吉尼亚从欧洲请来以英王理查为首的列国援军。十字军凭仗计谋上风向阿克要塞打击，由于阿克城总督自擅自利，卖身投敌，阿拉伯军民虽经苦战，但阿克城终极失守。十字军占据了阿克城，继而又策动了对阿什克伦城的打击，英王理查急于取胜，动用大型战车攻城。萨拉丁面临强敌，临时弃城而走，诱敌于沼泽地带，变被...
