简　　介  

　　汉考克（Jason Gedrick饰）与丹尼（Kiefer Sutherland饰）是高中的老同学。结业后，现实与理想的差异让他们堕入悲愤当中。汉考克在高中时是大家注视标篮球明星，但上大学后学业成就并不理想。他回抵故乡，成为了一位差人，渐渐地变得冷静无闻。汉考克很是忧心，惧怕他的女友玛丽在奇迹上跨越自己，最初离自己而去。
　　丹尼则是个学霸，大师都以为他往后会成为一位出色的政客。结业后的他，与他刁蛮任性的妻子贝芙（Meg Ryan饰）一路回了故乡，筹算开创奇迹。在圣诞节与怙恃一次长久的团圆后，母亲告诉丹尼，他的父亲快要死了。哀痛，加上帮助一位流浪汉消耗了他很多的积储，他感受自己的生活无以为继，起头回避一切题目。但是，贝芙让他抖擞了起来，以后，他们一路开了一家便当店。
　　就在那时，汉考克正与她女友在店旁的停车场打骂。为阻止抢劫犯，汉考克不谨慎用枪杀死了丹尼并伤及了贝芙。汉考克的精神接近解体……
