　　按照编剧Jepn Loeb和已故漫画家Michael Turner原作《超人与蝙蝠侠》第8期——第13期的故事"来自氪利普敦的超级女孩"改编。剧情承接上一部《超人与蝙蝠侠:公众之敌》，虽然陨石已经被撞毁，地球却布满了氪石的碎片。蝙蝠侠在海底断根氪石碎片的时辰发现了一艘宇宙飞船，各类迹象表白它是和流星雨同时到来的。随后在哥谭城出现了一位来自氪星的少女，超人很快得知她是自己的堂姐Kara Zor-El。虽然蝙蝠侠对Kara的身份存在疑虑，超人还是决议要庇护她并帮助她顺应地球的生活。但是Kara在天堂岛接管练习时，Darkseid 忽然打击并将Kara捉走，因而超人、蝙蝠侠前往Apokolips救援Kara，却发现Kara已经被洗脑。Darkseid号令Kara杀死超人。
