　　拉蒂夫·亚希艾（多米尼克·库珀 Dominic Cooper 饰）是战役在伊拉克战争火线的一位流兵，但是来自总统萨达姆的一纸诏令改变了他疆场生活。拉蒂夫被召集到总统家属中，却并非担任什么保镳脚色，而是要他充任总统的儿子乌代·侯赛因的替人。众所周知，乌代风格卑劣，心慈手软，生活灯红酒绿，酒池肉林。拉蒂夫本想拒绝这个荒诞的要求，却能够将自己与家人堕入危险。无法之下，对乌代热衷的香车美男、毒品暴力丝绝不感爱好的拉蒂夫不能不妥协，艰难而谨慎翼翼地当起乌代的替人，过着他酒池肉林的生活,也渐渐与乌代的女家丁萨拉巴（露迪芬·莎妮 Ludivine Sagnier 饰）结下友谊。但是在相处进程中，拉蒂夫却发现萨拉巴的家丁身份背后似乎还有隐情……
