　　马古师长（莱斯利·尼尔森 Leslie Nielsen 饰）是个家财万贯的亿万富翁，可是年龄已高的他不但近视的利害，连脑壳也有些糊涂了，他居然将代价连城的红宝石捐赠给了慈善奇迹。马古师长的这一壮举惹来了犯罪团伙的虎视眈眈，他们立誓，不将红宝石揣到自己的兜里誓不罢休。
　　
　　不但是荣幸还是不幸，在一番挫折后，红宝石还是回到了马古师长的身旁。未能得逞的罪犯们又想出一计，他们派出了性感标致的美男劳妮（凯莉·林奇 Kelly Lynch 饰），诡计用一招美人计拿下马古师长。但是，就在劳妮快要成功上垒之时，马古师长的外甥沃尔多（马特·基斯拉 Matt Keeslar 饰）看破了罪犯们的狡计，他们的计划再次流产。
