　　大卫（帕特里克·华德 Patrick Huard 饰）是一个标准的废柴男，已经42岁的他仍然在父亲的店里打工，而怀有他骨血的女友瓦莱丽（朱莉·勒布勒东 Julie LeBreton 饰）终极挑选了分开这个不称职的男友。一个访客的到来完全改变了大卫失利的生命，他告诉大卫，大卫曾假名“星巴克”所捐赠的精子，现在已经酿成了533个孩子，这也就意味着，在忽然之间，大卫成为了533个孩子的生父。                                    
                                更严重的工作还在前面，这五百多个孩子里，有142个孩子联名对大卫提出了诉讼，他们要求大卫从“星巴克”这个假名的背后走出来，不要再遮遮掩掩。在猎奇心的驱使下，大卫隐藏了实在身份，和他的孩子们起头了打仗，没想到，正是这些孩子们赐与了大卫新的人生希望。
