◎简　　介　

　　人们害怕走过盛开的樱花树下，由于传闻这会使人发狂……隐居山中的强盗（若山富三郎 饰）拦住了两男一女，他被女人（岩下志麻 饰）的美貌深深震动，斩杀汉子后背走了女人。女人各式妩媚，答应做他的妻子，但对强盗施以羞辱，并下达各类号令，强盗为她杀死了自己木屋中一切的女人，为她掠取一切物品。女人仍然不满足，提出回京都生活。强盗答应了，但要等走过盛开的樱花林以后。
　　二人来到京都，强盗逐日只是依照女人的要求收集人头，对城市生活的一无所知让强盗厌倦了一切，哪怕有女人的陪伴，强盗也执意回到山中。他们将再一次走过樱花树下……
　　本片按照坂口安吾小说《盛开的樱花林下》改编。
