　　电影《十诫》在影史上有着不成摆荡职位，取材自《旧约圣经》的《出埃及记》，报告了犹太先知摩西（查尔登·海斯顿饰）的平生。在履历各类磨难考验后，天主耶和华将“十诫”授与摩西，并赐予气力于摩西。摩西带领饱受磨难的希伯来人出走埃及，穿越红海，重新建立新的生活。
　　
　　1956年 由派 拉蒙电影公司建造，由打造好莱坞黄金时代的导演塞西尔·B·戴米尔执导的史诗电影《十诫》，荣获1957年第29届奥斯卡金像奖最好音效、最好剪辑、最好打扮设想、最好摄影、最好艺术指导、最好影片、及最好殊效等多项提名。本片被美国国家电影庇护局列为政府收藏作品，是一部不成错过的影史典范之作。
