　　马德里的斗牛教师迭戈（Nacho Martínez 饰）有恋尸嗜好，他的女友艾娃住在自己门生安吉尔（Antonio Banderas 饰）隔邻，此日安吉尔被迭戈斥责后窃看、跟踪并最初强奸了艾娃。安吉尔越日到警局自首，但艾娃并不筹算起诉，安吉尔随即认可自己是四起杀人案的凶手。一位名叫玛莉亚的女人出头为安吉尔辩解，而她现实上是实在的凶手，玛莉亚疯狂迷恋昔日的斗牛士迭戈，痴迷于利用杀牛的手法刺死和自己交欢的汉子，迭戈与玛莉亚相遇，发现对方多年来对自己疯狂的爱意。安吉尔尽力向警方证实自己杀人，迭戈把玛莉亚行凶的簪子也扔在安吉尔的储物柜里，安吉尔操纵自己能看到迭戈与玛莉亚两人所思所想的才能，向警方流露了更多证据，可是警方仍不能相信这个有晕血症的年轻人会杀人，这时艾娃带着偷听来的究竟真相赶到了警局……
