　　安是个在纽约执业的女心理医师，生活孤单空虚，却发现自已卷入一场谋杀案，工作由病人伊芙的豪情题目起头，安每次听完伊芙倾吐，总会莫名奇妙做连串反覆噩梦，饱受困扰的她乞助于医师里欧。接著她熟悉热情男人道格并发生爱情，却发觉道格是伊芙的男友，而道格被控告是谋杀伊芙的最大嫌犯，而安和里欧佳耦在观察进程，惊奇发现安的另一病患画家强尼也连累此案。本片是部剧情扑朔迷离、能抽丝剥茧的奇情推理谋杀片，片中虽多偶合但细嚼后却合情公道颇具压服力，意外的终局使民气服，加入表演的众星群均为硬里子演员，全片趁热打铁绝无冷场。
