　　一部无关性与暴力，“无风"、“障碍"意味稠密的“青春"电影。以炎天的海边为舞台，籍着仆人翁各种叛逆、抵挡的行为及心态探讨了一九七~年月初，即大学斗争逐步退却的年月，表白心中的苦闷与抵触。本片从炎天的早晨，清碰到曾被不良少年强横的早苗而展开。片中健一郎由于没法忍受母亲在父亲死后又投入其他汉子怀抱，而发生各种抵挡的行为。究竟他并不是抵挡大人而是顺从自已成为大人的究竟，希望自已一向逗留在青春期间，这就是片中夸大的“障碍"给人最强的印象。导演藤田敏八以其灵敏的电影感受，用片中人物间的对照、抵触，人物与布风景体间的反衬，鲜明而激烈的将其所欲表达之主题--冷眼甚至恶意地表示抵挡的青春。
