◎简　　介　
　　未来天下中，工程工人性情拉斯（Arnold Schwarzenegger 饰）被延续的梦乡困扰，那是一系列发生在红色火星上的体验。道格拉斯在广告上发现了回忆观光公司的先容，虽然同事警告他这类虚拟观光能够会风险人类的大脑，但比起亲身去一趟充溢着反政府武装的火星，回忆观光公司确是一个不错的挑选。道格拉斯如愿接管了回忆观光的办事，可是虚拟记忆的进程忽然出现毛病，自此一系列不成思议的履历出现在道格拉斯的身上，先是妻子劳瑞（Sharon Stone 饰）向他倡议进犯并认可自己是监视道格拉斯的特务，后来有陌生人出现帮助他逃走并指出他是火星独裁者针对反政府武装派出的奸细，成果由于一位女子梅丽（Rachel Ticotin 饰）改变了态度……道格拉斯动身前往火星，那边有一切的答案，大概一切又只是梦乡一场？

◎幕后揭秘
　　《周全回忆》的剧本初稿由《异形》编剧丹·欧班农和罗纳德·舒塞特联手完成，创作灵感源于科幻作家菲利普·迪克的短篇小说《We Can Remember It for You Wholesale》。两位编剧早在迪克在世时就买下了小说改编权，却迟迟找不到成心投拍本片的制片商。履历了冗长的弃捐以后，影片终究在80年月中期迎来起色，接手本片的建造人迪诺·德·劳伦提斯决议让理查德·德莱福斯担纲主演，那时帕特里克·斯威兹也曾待选，而成心执导本片的大卫·柯南伯格却希望由威廉·赫特主演。柯南伯格在回忆起筹拍履历和与舒塞特的分歧时说：“我为了这部电影花费了一年时候，剧本前后点窜了12稿，舒塞特最初对我说，‘你晓得你做了什么？你完成的是菲利普·迪克的版本，而我们想要的是火星上的《夺宝奇兵》。’”在《沙丘》票房失利以后，德·劳伦提斯也对本片落空了爱好，而起初被其拒之门外的阿诺·施瓦辛格立即捉住这一可贵机遇，他不单压服卡罗可电影公司（Carolco Pictures）买下影片改编权，还为该公司节省了300万美圆，并为自己约定了100至110万的片酬以及影片获利15％的分红，除此之外，施瓦辛格还享有极大限度的决议权，可以决议建造人、导演、剧本和演员。
　　在成为《周全回忆》台前幕后的掌门人后，施瓦辛格首先动手的即是亲身招募保罗·范霍文出任本片导演，由于后者执导的《机械战警》给他留下了深入印象，而且他还曾与片中主演失之交臂。那时剧本已经点窜至第42稿，可故事终局却一向悬而未决，范霍文为此找来编剧加里·戈德曼与舒塞特配合努力于剧本。范霍文还聘请了多位合作过《机械战警》的昔日同伴，其中包括演员罗尼·考克斯、摄影师约斯特·瓦卡诺、艺术指导威廉·山德尔和殊效设想师罗伯·伯汀。
　　影片大部分在墨西哥城拍摄完成，其中的未来派地铁站和机车确切是墨西哥公共交通系统的组成部分，只是车箱被喷涂成灰色并增加了电视监视器。本片开初被定为X级，在删减了部分暴力场景和应用多角度取景后，才终极被定为R级。《周全回忆》是最初一部大范围采用微缩景观殊效的好莱坞大片，共有五家殊效公司效力于本片，片中唯一的CGI殊效是时长42秒的扫描搭客骨骼及其私藏枪枝的X光画面。
