◎简　　介　
　　在美国与墨西哥的鸿沟有一块灰色地带，那边是毒贩和杀手们的天堂，他们在此买卖火并，完全视法令为无物。凯特（艾米莉·布朗特 Emily Blunt 饰）是联邦观察局的捕快，心里怀揣着惩奸除恶的正义理想，她来到此地，加入了联邦政府特种军队，成为了马特（乔什·布洛林 Josh Brolin 饰）的手下。
　　亚历桑德罗（本尼西奥·德尔·托罗 Benicio Del Toro 饰）是已经卧底在毒枭身旁的前任奸细，马特找到了他，希望经历丰富的他可以成为行动小组的计谋顾问，但是亲历过天堂的亚历桑德罗完全不按常理出牌，他的所作所为经常刺激着凯特懦弱而又敏感的神经。随着观察的深入，灭亡的气味覆盖着行动组内的每一小我，一次又一次与死神擦肩而过，凯特的三观起头发生摆荡。
