　　福克斯公布，肯尼思·布拉纳不但将担任导演，同时还将出演片中配角——比利时大侦察赫克尔·波洛（Hercule Poirot）！波洛是阿加莎笔下最著名的脚色之一，曾出现在她33部小说当中。
　　1934年出书的小说《东方快车谋杀案》描写了发生在著名的“东方快车”上一路古怪命案，每小我都有作案的怀疑，比利时大侦察波洛（Hercule Poirot）经过周密的、抽丝剥茧的逻辑分析，终究让案情大白于全国。
