　　电影的奇异在于可以重建时候，尤如生命可以重来。
　　伊朗导演马克马巴夫年轻时是个激进份子，曾因攻击并刺伤一个差人而被捕入狱，出狱以后，终放弃了政治理想，而把电影当做了信仰，就在他拍《电影万岁》的时辰，居然发现昔时他攻击的差人也在一群试镜者傍边。后来，他就以他们二人的故事拍了这部《蒙昧时辰》。
　　导演试图重建昔时自己制造的攻击事务，而且约请了另一位当事人--那位差人一路来完成此次重建：找来二位小演员，别离饰演年轻时的马克马巴夫和差人，马克马巴夫和差人别离去跟自己的饰演者报告昔时自己的行为委曲，然后拍摄谋杀进程。固然导演也就不但是马克马巴夫，还有阿谁差人。究竟上，他也简直一向在重建进程中表达他的愿望和理想，起头是教他的饰演者给过来问他时候的女孩送盆花，后来又教他朝她开枪，而这二样，都是他昔时没有做的。
　　还有一位人物，是马克马巴夫的表妹，马克马巴夫昔时谋杀的时辰，以她去问那位差人时候做保护，而差人却始终不晓得这情况，把昔时阿谁总是来问他几点的女孩看成心上人记忆犹新，直到拍摄时他看到一个小女孩演员和马克马巴夫的饰演者一同走向自己的饰演者的时辰才恍然大悟。
　　他感应被欺骗和危险以后，自行篡改了历史：他告诉自己的饰演者，非论是谁靠近和他措辞，你就向她开枪，包括那位女孩。他也诡计在对曩昔的重建中表达他受危险的愤慨，假如生命可以重来！
　　在重建的诡计下，导演的却是一出奇妙的虚拟，而正是这一虚拟，把曩昔的故事转换成了现在时态，也使得导演对于曩昔的深思显得更有诚意。
　　记载片样的拍摄手法，质朴而坦诚。电影起头的时辰，马克马巴夫在试镜找二个17岁的演员饰演他自己和那位差人，饰演他的那位说他的理想是拯救人类；而差人的饰演者却一副老实巴交的样子，差人非常不满，拒绝出演，说导演假如改变主张就到那里那里去找他，愤但是去，摄影师问导演要不要把他追返来，而导演说，这个脚色对他很重要，他会返来的。演员如同在生活般演戏，导演也如同生活般在拍电影：看，这是我的生活，也就是我的电影。
　　当差人在教他的饰演者应当怎样送上盆花的时辰，马克马巴夫表妹的饰演者恰好途经，问他几点。跃但是出电影穿越时候的奇异，恍如浑然天成的回文诗。
　　二位导演的诡计最初都被几个小演员给倾覆了：激进份子递上的是大饼，差人取出的是盆花，取代了匕首和手枪。
